This double wide yard on a steep incline provided the opportunity for development of several terraced areas at the front, a wildlife garden, a large vegetable garden, and a extended patio across the back of the home. There was an existing old outbuilding that we surrounded with gravel walks and fenced, to provide a service area for garden tools, bikes, and other items that needed screening from the rest of the garden. There was a balance of shaded and sunny areas, so we were able to have both a woodland feel for the patio and entry, as well as cottage garden plantings along the side.
